　　記不清參加過多少次CIT了,恐怕差不多10次了。這些年我看到了CIT的巨大變化。一方麵是規模,首次參加CIT時的規模已經讓我無法記住,但現在她已經成長為世界第三大的介入心髒病學會議。另一方麵是其教育專場的種類,包括病例報告、病例競賽等,並且采用了先進的支持技術。可以看到,CIT已經成為一個擁有龐大講者群、許多精彩內容和技術的大型會議。我所見證的CIT的成長是令人驚訝的。

　　CIT令我印象最深刻的就是其進步之大。目前CIT與TCT是合作夥伴。每年夏天CIT部分資深專家就會來到美國心血管研究基金會(CRF)與我們討論既往會議並討論如何使下一年的會議辦得更精彩。CIT所設置的會節非常利於將世界介入心髒病學家最感興趣的內容引入介紹給中國參會者。我們也意識到,為中國介入醫生尤其是年輕醫生提供一個展示和學習的平台是非常重要的,最終他們將成為成熟的優秀介入心髒病學醫生。

　　I can’t even count how many times I have come to attend CIT. Maybe it’ s about ten times. During these years, I have seen great changes from CIT. First thing is the size. I can’ t remember how big CIT was when I first attended it but now it has grown to be the 3rd largest interventional cardiological meeting in the world. The second thing is the types of educational sessions that are available, including the case reports, case competitions, etc. The technology used is also advanced. You could see that CIT is becoming a huge meeting with huge attendant faculty, quantities of programs, technolo gies. It is amazing to watch how it changed.

　　What CIT impresses me most is how much it has evolved. It is now co-sponsored by TCT. Some of its senior physician advisors visited CRF every summer. We discuss the previous meeting and how to make the next year’s meeting even better. The sessions are clearly geared to bring what is most interested by interventional cardiologists in the world to the Chinese audience. And we also recognize that it is particularly important to have a venue so that Chinese interventional doctors especially the younger ones can present cases and learn from its faculty to date when they can become part of the interventional cardiologists.
